These are some black & white gag cartoons that I produced under the ‘Bartoon Central’ title, brought up to date from some older cartoons I had drawn some years prior.

These were produced not long after I had freshly acquired my Intuos3 graphics tablet (dubbed “Wilbur” by my wife, who likes to name things!). I was eager to try out the bundled copy of Corel Painter Essentials, and see how much more effectively the tablet could replace my previous workflow of using felt pens & a scanner. The results far & away exceeded my expectations, and while the choices of software packages have changed, I haven’t looked back since!
